PROJECT 7 BAP.26
KNEEDBAAR
Kneedbaar is a creative hub located within the former Peeters–Van Mechelen brickworks in Noeveren, Boom. The project aims to reactivate this historically significant industrial site by creating a place where craftsmanship, creativity and community come together.
At the heart of the project is a ceramic workshop equipped with shared workstations, pottery wheels and kilns, offering space for both experienced makers and beginners. The workshop is complemented by a small café that serves as an informal meeting place, encouraging interaction between visitors, artists and local residents. By bringing creative activities back to the site, the project seeks to strengthen the connection between Noeveren and the wider municipality of Boom while building upon the area's rich tradition of making and production.
