A table that physically and psychologically separates its users, achieved through two overlapping tabletops that never quite meet. While two people can sit at opposite ends, they cannot sit directly across from each other, creating an inherent barrier to interaction. The design challenges the traditional role of a table as a space for connection, instead promoting isolation in a subtle way.
